AJAX and Beyond with ThinWire

Joshua Gertzen To Examine the Challenges of AJAX Programming

Joshua Gertzen (pictured) will present a session entitled "AJAX and Beyond With ThinWire" during the upcoming AJAXWorld Conference & Expo which will take place October 2-4, 2006, at the Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa Clara, California.

This session is an overview of the challenges associated with AJAX programming, and looks at how different frameworks have attempted to address them. Utilizing examples from the Java-based ThinWire AJAX Framework, Joshua Getzen will describe how ThinWire's approach to Ajax development simplifies and/or eliminates the majority of these issues. Topics will include:

1) Security surrounding communication and client-side code.

2) Performance in the browser and over the network.

3) Debugging considerations and managing application complexity.

4) Flow control management and state handling in Ajax applications. 5) Introduction to ThinWire and how it addresses these issues. 6) Building enterprise Ajax applications with ThinWire.

Over the last six years, Joshua Gertzen has played a key role in building the technology infrastructure at Custom Credit Systems. For the past three years, he has been the primary architect responsible for designing, maintaining, and enhancing the ThinWire Ajax Framework, which is now open source and in production use

Additionally, as a unique prequel to the event, the inaugural AJAXWorld University Bootcamp provides a full day of in-depth training on the very best means currently available to learn how to use AJAX from top to bottom.

On October 3, 2006 the inaugural Real-World Ruby on Rails One-Day Seminar will take place with 10 of the leading experts in the Ruby on Rails space teaching this exciting new technology.

If you're trying to achieve the most current understanding of the entire pageantry of AJAX, Rich Internet Applications, and Web 2.0, be sure to attend AJAXWorld on October 3-4, 2006 (as well as the bootcamp on October 2, 2006).
