QlikView for Communities Brings AJAX-Based QlikView Analysis

Revolutionary Deployment Model Helps Easy Share of QlikView Documents With Unltd Contacts

QlikTech announced the unveiling of QlikView for Communities, a new deployment model that brings the power of QlikView analysis to the masses. QlikView for Communities allows organizations to extend simple yet powerful analysis to large communities of users outside their organization such as suppliers, partners and customers.

Bringing QlikView to a mass audience allows QlikTech customers to solve critical business challenges. For instance, bringing purchase and inventory information to channel partners allows manufacturers to reduce waste and spoilage in the supply chain. By sharing key performance metrics, a service provider can create customer trust which strengthens the customer relationship. Making analytical views of a product catalog allows customers to quickly identify the right product for their needs.

To reach a mass audience, BI must be web-based, easy to use and support large numbers of users. QlikView achieves these goals with a training-free solution that anyone can use. QlikView is based on an AJAX web interface which allows users to click and instantly interact with data. In addition, QlikView can scale to support tens of thousands of users.

“QlikTech prides itself on working closely with our customers to develop new products and offerings. QlikView for Communities addresses the requirements we've heard many customers voice – the need to allow a large external community of users’ access to easy to use analysis,” said Anthony Deighton, vice president of marketing for QlikTech. “We expect that this will open significant opportunities for customers to share the power of QlikView with their customers and partners.”

QlikView simplifies analysis across lines of business by improving end-user access to data analysis, streamlining application development, and enhancing overall flexibility for organizations. This is achieved via in-memory manipulation of massive datasets on low-cost hardware, allowing affordable widespread deployment of sophisticated analytic applications in days. QlikView for Communities was designed specifically to provide QlikView availability to very large groups of users without requiring additional IT resources and specialized training. This unique offering is Web-based in nature and maintains a zero footprint on an organization’s infrastructure.

QlikTech is leading a new class of easy-to-use, fast and flexible business analysis solutions that empower individuals to improve corporate performance and drive innovation. QlikTech’s flagship product, QlikView 7.5, extends the company’s vision of simplifying business analysis, offering solutions that can be deployed in days, where users can be trained in minutes, and where end-users have the freedom to be more creative in their analyses.
