AjaxCFC Reaches 1.0

the popular ColdFusion-AJAX library has just announced the reach of a major milestone

Good news for ColdFusion developers: ajaxCFC has reached 1.0. After about a year of development, the popular ColdFusion-AJAX library has just announced the reach of a major milestone.

AjaxCFC is a ColdFusion framework meant to speed up AJAX application development and deployment by providing developers seamless integration between JavaScript and ColdFusion, and providing built-in functions, such as security and debugging, to quickly adapt to any type of environment and helping to overcome cross-browser compatibility problems.

Rob Gonda, creator of AjaxCFC has been an active member of the AJAX community, speaking at various engagements including the first "Real-World AJAX" Seminar, headed the AJAX Developer's Journal, and contributed the Real-World AJAX Book.

Along with the launch of this milestone, Rob announced that the project would be hosted now at RIAForge, home for Adobe Open Source projects, where it will be much more exposed to a wider community involvement.
