Primary Architect Behind the Open Source ThinWire AJAX Framework to Speak at AJAXWorld 2007

Joshua Gertzen Will Give a Session on "Effective AJAX for Everyone Including the Enterprise"

Joshua Gertzen, the primary architect behind the open source ThinWire AJAX Framework, will be one of 125 speakers and presenters March 16-19, 2007, at AJAXWorld Conference & Expo 2007 East - the largest AJAX-focused speaker faculty ever assembled in one place at one time.

Gertzen is a professional computer programmer with over 10 years of experience in software development and architecture. His knowledge and experience range from utilizing differing programming languages, development frameworks, and architectural patterns, to troubleshooting complex architectural issues. Over the last six years, he has played a key role in building the technology infrastructure at Custom Credit Systems (http://www.customcreditsystems.com), a Dallas-based software company. His primary focus over that time has been building Web architectures that utilize DHTML and/or AJAX programming techniques. Additionally, he has been the primary architect behind building, maintaining, and enhancing the open source ThinWire AJAX Framework.

Gertzen's session, "Effective AJAX for Everyone Including the Enterprise," will discuss how, for all the great things that AJAX adds to the Web developer's toolbox, it can also add layers of complexity to a Web development stack that is already bursting at the seams.

Choosing an AJAX framework that aligns its capabilities with your needs is important in achieving both your near-term and long-term goals, Gertzen will show. He will then assist attendees with understanding the four levels of AJAX frameworks that Gartner has identified, so that you can make a better decision betrween them.

His session will outline a range of criteria you should consider in your decision as well as discuss the benefits of a Level 4 general purpose framework.

Like many AJAXWorld Conference & Expo speakers, Joshua regularly posts updates to his blog ( http://www.truecode.org )

In addition to Joshua Gertzen, delegates will be able to hear first-hand from other creators, innovators, leaders and early adopters of AJAX, and a slew of leading vendors will also be providing sneak peeks of new frameworks, tools, products and applications during the conference, which will have over 100 sessions and presentations given by 125 different speakers from a wide variety of backgrounds, including:
