AJAX-Enabled Advertising News Portal

Uses AJAX To Provide Users With Access To Headlines & Story Synopses Allowing Them To Click Through To The Actual Source Of News

Actuan, a marketing-technology consultancy, announced that the "2.0" version of its Advertising News Portal is available for use by the public. The Advertising News Portal collects ad industry news headlines from numerous Internet sites and makes them available in consolidated areas that include Traditional Advertising, Interactive Marketing, Emerging Technology and Media.

"From up-fronts to mergers, the advertising industry is fast-paced. Staying up-to-date is crucial to success," says Talib Morgan, CEO and Founder of Actuan. "In the course of a day, it's hard to remember to check Adweek, AdAge, MediaWeek, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, as well as blogs like AdFreak and Paid Content, but that's where key industry news originates. We've put together a system that brings it all together and makes it easy for people to access."

The Advertising News Portal presents news headlines from the top marketing, advertising and media industry news sites. The site uses Web 2.0 technologies RSS and AJAX to provide users with access to headlines and story synopses and allows them to click through to the actual source of every news story. The portal also features a powerful search engine that allows users to search our story archives to find past information on a specific topic or company.

The Ad News Portal supports the Firefox, Internet Explorer 6+ and Opera browsers on PCs as well as Firefox and Safari on Macs.
