AJAXWorld 2007: How AJAX Is Improving Communications and Quality of Life Inside the U.S. Air Force

Real-World AJAX, Laszlo Style

With over 800,000 members, many of whom are stationed around the world, the U.S. Air Force is dedicated to providing the best communications experiences possible. By implementing the latest RIA and AJAX techniques, under the sure-footed guidance of Laszlo Systems, the USAF has been advancing real-time communications to enable servicemen to easily and instantly interact with their friends and family.

When the head of Laszlo’s federal sector, Peggy Rackstraw, takes the speaker's podium at AJAXWorld Conference & Expo on March 20, as part of the special Laszlo Track being held that day, she will be sharing it with Tony Tran, who leads the development teams for the U.S. Air Force’s Global Combat Support Systems (GCSS-AF) program and who has been helping the U.S. Air Force quickly adopt RIA technologies to enhance its Portal and Collaboration tools, as well as to evolve its Data Reporting and Business Intelligence capabilities.

In this unique AJAXWorld 2007 (East) session, Rackstraw and Tran will will uncover the USAF’s unique communications challenges, as well as how Laszlo’s products, including Laszlo Mail and Laszlo Digital Life, are making a difference. Attendees will see why Laszlo Mail is proving to be a better alternative to higher-cost and higher-maintenance desktop solutions, and how the USAF is planning to improve the lives of their global personnel with Laszlo’s Digital Life suite.
